Thoughts and News Summary

  1. The Chinese economy is over-heating. The new generation of share traders have not tasted the bitterness of collapsed market. They will soon get that
  2. Regularly checking my email accounts, hoping to see the familiar (nameless) mails. Indelible habit :)
  3. Mobile devices are ubiquitous. Yeap, that means brain-related diseases could be ubiquitous in the very near future. I am planning to invest in companies that specialize in hearing-aids, brain-scanning, medical care solutions, and general medical devices.
  4. The most profitable business can be found in Malaysia: Car dealership for Proton. Proton is Malaysia's own national car. Initially when the cars were selling like hot cakes because of the near monopolistic market, the dealers were in very good shape. However due to the crappy craftsmanship and shoddy quality, Proton cars now literally belong to the junkyards... wait..., even for typical rubbish you don't need to spend that much money to maintain, so let's call these cars "sub-junk". In deep shit, the generous government funded those dealers RM10M, or roughly RM150K per dealer, to close down their business. This is not the end of the story, most dealers are NOT happy, saying they spent RM200K - RM300K to set up their businesses, hence should 'deserve' more. In view of this, the government is planning to top RM16M to make sure they won't lose money. Wow. What a deal!!!!
